This is an online, searchable version of the FVL maintained by
Ferrets Anonymous.
I didn't have anything to do with the FVL itself. I built this
interface because it just didn't make sense to me that people
should need to download a large PDF file and dig through it
manually in order to do the simple, on-time task of finding a
nearby vet. The FA agreed with my view, and loved the results
enough that they have abandoned the old PDF distribution and
maintain their data here instead.
I wrote this to help me find a job in this horrible economy with
so many people in the tech industry unemployed. But I am sure it
can be useful for other purposes as well. This program lets you
keep an eye out for changes in a list of web pages. It keeps
copies of old and new versions of each page and displays whether
each page has changed. For changed pages, you can view just the
changes, making it easier to see what has changed.
This is a front-end program for the old MajorBBS game, Galactic
Empire. It simplifies game play by replacing the old teletype
interface with a screen layout that clearly displays important
information, replacing complicated command sequences with one-
or two-keystroke commands, and adding advanced functionality and
automatic operations.
An interactive fiction games site that allows playing hundreds of
famous (and not-so-famous) text adventure games with nothing but a
web browser. I built this with a friend after one day suddenly
realizing that I knew how it could be done. So I just HAD to do it.
A tool to help you find the coordinates of a place with a reasonable
level of precision. You don't really need coordinates with six decimals
of precision, and in most cases the extra digits are meaningless.
